Charles River warmly invites you and your colleagues to join us at our world class facility in Tranent (nr Edinburgh) United Kingdom on Tuesday 30th September and Wednesday 1st of October 2025, for a two-day event focusing on the needs and developing methodologies in the agrochemical sector.

The objective is to facilitate a cross industry meeting with your peers and colleagues, share insights, case studies, research, and more.

Our expert speakers’ program will cover the following topics:

  • Impact of water treatment processes on residues of active substances or their metabolites in drinking water and current efforts to harmonise methodologies
  • Established and developing methods for assessing toxicology of active substances
  • Modern approaches to identifying the broad range of metabolites generated from agrochemical metabolism studies
  • Recent advances in dermal absorption testing and regulatory requirements
  • Assessment of PB/vPvB/PM/vPvM characteristics of actives substances and plant protection products
  • New Alternative Methodologies (NAMs), established methods and new methods under evaluation and their potential impact and advantages/disadvantages
  • Emergence of Biopesticides and the emergence of adapted methodologies for varying classifications of active ingredients.
  • Pollinator and terrestrial ecotox testing and impact of regional regulations and changes in regulatory expectations.
  • Metabolomics, what role this can play in improving new candidate selection.
