We will examine future initiatives to coordinate hazard and risk assessments across EU chemicals legislation. This will have horizontal impacts for regulatory regimes including REACH, biocides, plant protection products, cosmetics, food, medicines and much more. Key topics include:

• Data rights and data risks
• Protecting confidential business information

Two years after the adoption of the EU Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, the revamp of key EU chemicals and products regulations is underway. While the direction of travel is largely identifiable on some topics, for many other topics much remains to be determined.
