The premier global meeting place for the biocontrol industry prevails despite Covid-19

The year 2020 is the most challenging year in bringing the premier event to the biocontrol industry. We commit to deliver an extremely productive event at the scheduled date despite these circumstances.

We are fully aware that ABIM is even more important to the industry in these challenging times and will facilitate the networking, knowledge exchange and new product opportunities by the traditional means and through incorporating virtual technologies as seen fit. Opportunities for virtual exhibition and sponsorship as well as 1-to-1 and other meeting opportunities are under developmentThe ABIM management team and the Congress Center Basel are constantly monitoring the situation and planning arrangements that will optimize the ABIM experience.

To this extent the ABIM organizers are facilitating the most flexible arrangements for booking and cancellation for physical presence. Registrations will be valid for physical and virtual participation. We believe this offers you the confidence to commit to ABIM participation knowing that you will be able to network and exchange via physical presence or virtual technology.

ABIM is internationally recognised as the unrivalled meeting place for the biocontrol industry. ABIM is the venue at which to discover and unveil new products, to discuss market opportunities, to present new research, to learn about the latest regulatory situation and to liaise with business professionals from all over the world.

During the three days of the 14th ABIM conference and exhibition in 2019, 1227 delegates from 52 countries representing 536 companies and organisations from all over the globe were present and exchanged experiences and obtained information on the latest products and developments on the global market. Two keynote speeches from Urs Niggli and Michael Brownbridge enriched the programme. The programme covered the latest developments in market development, regulatory affairs and novel products for plant protection. The exhibition was as always, at the core of the congress, giving 90 companies excellent visibility.
